R&D Engineer:
Passive Electrical Component R&D Engineer to conduct research on innovative passive electrical component design and development to improve communication subsystem using thin film material and communication theory, interact with marketing/sales team of the company and its customers to determine the needs and problems involving passive components, design and develop high frequency (DC to 40 GHZ) electronic models and products using knowledge of RF and Microwave theory, electrical simulation technology software ADS and MOMENTUM, integrated circuit layout technology and 3D mechanical design software solid works, develop automation product measurement technique with Labview software which interfaces with high frequency measurement equipments such as VNA, PPG, Oscilloscope, DCA, Multimeter, test and capture technical defects of the products and perform quality assurance, prepare documentation on specifications, procedures, work methods and instructions to ensure quality in technical conferences and journals, and monitor and research and timely recommend new products for development. The job requires Master’s degree focusing on Electrical or Electronics Engineering and knowledge of wireless and optical communication system, microwave devices, IC fabrication process, layout topologies, mask design, resistor fabrication, passive electronic device design, simulation and modeling, proven by six months of experience or coursework taken. The job is a 40 hour/wk full time job.
